Description
This is a great birding spot for some very cool species. At 1200 meters (3960 feet), it's cooler here and you can find some nice cloud forest species here.
This is a private ecological reserve and they've done an excellent job of preserving this beautiful habitat and maintain a very nice trail system. The reserve is an extinct volcano that has a lovely waterfall.
Some of the special birds here are the Black-bellied Hummingbird, Green Hermit, Black-breasted Wood-Quail, Buff-fronted Quail-Dove, Purple-throated Mountain-Gem, Coppery-headed Emerald, and Green-crowned Brilliant.
